The prophecies about the 2012 end time has become hot topic during recent times but basically inspired by the story that the Mayan Calendar end in 2012. This was based on the Mayan belief that nothing else will happen at that time the reason the Mayans think that 2012 is the end of the world.

Prophecies about the end of the world are foreseen to be caused by planetary alignment making the sun reach a convergence point on the equator. This is also called a shifting of the 2 poles of the Earth where the south pole becomes north and north becomes south.

Pole shift may be caused by magnetism of the earth. There are movement of the poles but planet alignment are still the same. Some people believe the pole shift theory because of the fossils they found in places where they are not supposed to be found.

The pole shift is also expected to bring about a planetary alignment although this is believed to be caused by gravity which could in turn cause volcanic eruptions, strong earthquakes and tsunami.

We have witnessed the fury of each of these natural phenomena and if we are ready to confront them and address them properly for our survival then we are all doomed to extinction.

The effect of a pole shift, especially when occurring at the same time as a planetary conjunction, is unknown since the last shift occurred long before human memory.

Recently the topic of the Mayan calendar and the end of a major cycle of time has once again been brought to the fore by some authors and the media.

The year 2012 is specifically mentioned, and many expect that the world, as we know it, will finish in that year.

This subject deserves close attention and study. Let us not forget that the Mayans arrived at a very high degree of civilization some 4000 years ago. Modern scholars have verified that the Mayans’ observations and astronomical calculations are entirely accurate in every respect, with much of their knowledge remaining beyond the scope of modern science.

Many other peoples conceived existence subjected to CYCLES OF TIME. The Aztecs, for example, divided time into different “suns”. Suns that give rise to different humanities: the Children of the First Sun, the Second Sun, and so on.

In old Europe the ancient Greeks divided the history of humanity into cycles of four ages: the Golden Age, the Silver Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. At the end of the Iron Age (the period of greatest materialism and confusion) the Earth is renewed and a new Golden Age begins.

The same basic conception of existence is found in ancient India and its sacred books. Here even the universe itself is subjected to great cycles of time (maha-yugas), lasting for millions of years and enveloping universes, systems of worlds, planets and humanities. Here everything rests on the primary rhythm: the Breathing of Brahma, which gives rise to periods of activity and periods of rest for the whole universe (the cosmic days and nights).

Nowadays we have forgotten that life and time unfold in cycles. Today we think that time unfolds in a straight line. We have a linear conception of time (past, present and future). This is one of the consequences of our moving away from Nature. Don’t we realize that the year itself unfolds in endless cycles of spring, summer, autumn and winter as the Earth completes a revolution around the Sun?

In the Gospels themselves, Jesus clearly mentions the end of the world, not in terms of the end of the planet, but in terms of THE END OF AN AGE, therefore in terms of time. (Greek: TE SYNTELEIA TOU AIONOS). Aionos or Aion meaning “era” or “age”. And he relates it to the selection and renewal of humanity, clearly alluding to a new beginning. See for example gospel of Matthew 13: 40-43).

Now we can ask ourselves: is there a connection between the alleged end of the world in 2012 and the different zodiacal ages: the Age of Pisces, the Age of Aquarius… which follow one after the other until they complete a large cycle of time or Sidereal Year (also called Platonic Year).

Can we disregard the profound study of the zodiacal ages and their influence on the planet earth and humanity?
The sages of antiquity were well aware of them.

It is a reality that the most-hated persons in our country today are ultra-conservative politicians and far left ultra-liberals which include the former US president.

This means that if you are a Conservative Republican you may be able to stand losing a few votes but if you are assertive and have the gift of gab then you might win the Independent votes.

Here are a few questions to ask ourselves:
1. How do the Moderates differ from the Independents?

Answer: The Independents are free-thinkers while the Moderates are spectators without a backbone.

2. Who did the independent voters support in the 2008 election?
Answer: The supported Barack Obama

3. Why did the choose Obama??
Answer: It could be because of his charisma and his promise of change, it could be because he is controversial or another reason is that there is really no other choice.

4. Other than Colin Powell did anybody else from the Republican voted for Obama in 2008??
Answer: Yes. (God bless Sarah Palin)

Registered Republicans among us will not hesitate to choose somebody from the other party just to be able to vote for someone who will do great things for our country. The winner of those votes will have a definite stand with a clear agenda that could prove controversial.

Definitely these are not the proper time for the Moderates. They have not been so since the former President Reagan antagonized the liberals.
I voted for Huckabee in the primaries for his stand on taxes and besides he I also a Christian Conservative but finally chose McCain anyway. I have high esteem for someone who worships God.

When I voted for Obama, I voted for McCain as well not because of a special trait that McCain had. I thought Obama was a “know-it-all” who would dictate to us what to do with our lives. But when he said the pronouncement “This is the greatest country in the world, help me fix it,” I know he will be my president.

The summary of this article is that any US official who opposes President Obama should stand up and express their opposition. They should take this to the media, to MSNBC and CNN and Meet the Press. Be bold and aggressive enough to confront this issue head on.

If they are afraid of Fox Channel’s negative publicity it means that they are not a true conservative only an ordinary politician making both ends meet.
The election of 2012 will be a fight to regain our country back from the far-left liberals who do not comprise the majority but they are simply the most assertive. If the conservatives do not succeed today then it might take them a lifetime to do that.

The 2012 end time theory is a combination of various prophecies. Never has there been a period in history when new about the end of the world made so much noise and anxiety among the people.

These include the prophecies of Mother Shipton, Edgar Cayce, Isaac Newton, Timewave Zero, predictions of the I Ching, of Nostradamus and The Sybil. Pseudoscience has also a part on it like the Solar Maximum and threatening Coronal Mass Ejections, a possible geomagnetic reversal, the Procession of the Equionoxes and the Web Bot Project. Galactic alignment will happen on that very day, an event that appears only every 26,000 years. As we enter the Age of Aquarius, our byword has become 2012.

Much had already been said about 2012 that w cannot simply ignore the message it is trying to get across us. You have the option to just watch the fearmongers and allow them to scare you of you can make your own research to see what really is going on. You cannot just be spectator and get scared to death.

Here’s what I have stumbled upon my own research:
Any Research on 2012 end time theory should start with the Mayan Long Count Calendar. The Mayans excelled in mathematics and astronomy. This is the reason why they were able to invent a unique calendar which ha a life of 5,125.

The Mayans and the Egyptian ancient civilizations were similar in many ways—their hieroglyphics, their faith and methodology and their time keeping system.

What did the Mayans or the Egyptians really want to tell us? Is it our end or are they just warning us of something like a transformation from one age to the other?

One fact is that the Mayan Long Count Calendar end on Winter Solstice which is December 21, 2012 which they say is the same day as the transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius which further means that the sun and the planets use the Plane of the Ecliptic.

This means that the constellations move near the ecliptic and in the process recedes by one degree counterclockwise every 3 days. This is due to the movement of the earth as it rotates on its axis.

The consequence is that for about 2,160 years, the group of stars that can be seen in the morning changes. This signifies the culmination of the current Age of Pisces and the dawning of a new one which is the Age of Aquarius.

The winter solstice is intersected by the equator and is presently included in the constellation of Sagittarius and the spring equinox is presently in Pisces.

Every winter solstice for the last 1000 years or more the equator, the Sun and the Earth come into alignment, and every year, too the Sun’s position is pushed further to reach the Milk Way.

New Age proponents of the galactic alignment hypothesis argue that, just as astrology uses the positions of stars and planets to make claims of future events, The Mayans invented a unique calendar with the aim to prepare mankind for the 2012 end time. It is said that the most precise convergence having already occurred in 1998.

Nostradamus is so far the most famous seer in history indicating that 50% of his predictions have come true. But they say that nowhere in his predictions did he mention the 2012 end time. In fact experts saya that his predictions go beyond 2012 until the 38th century.

Christian fundamentalists believe that the end of the world is near and those who are not prepared are doomed. Even the Bible says that not even the angels of Jesus Christ cannot say the exact date of the end time

There is rumor about Nibiru, or Planet X but astronomers say that Nibiru does not even exist.

What about the aliens, the ones that seeded humanity and keep coming back to steal cow parts and human fetuses? Those who believe in ETs say that they will finally land on the lawn of the White House on December 21, 2012.

For some, however, the 2012 end time is an age of major changes for the better. It will be an age of awakening, hope and new beginning where each one of us will soar to new heights and to a higher level.

There are just too ideas, myths, pseudo-science beliefs, mysteries, conspiracies and wishful thinking going on about the 2012 end time.

It has been observed that every generation has anticipated the events leading to the 2012 end time. We are all aware that we have strayed. We hunger for change and that is the change for the better.

WE create our own life. So if we want positive changes to happen then we have to start with ourselves.

Therefore if and when the 2012 end time happens we just have to make sure that the new life we are making is even better than the one we used to have. We also have to be prepared for what will happen on December 21, 2012. It is always better safe than sorry.

The 2008 US presidential election had very impressive and widely followed campaigns. But it will be an entirely different story for the 2012 election because only the Republican party will have unforgettable primaries and that Barack Obama will run for a second term in office.
Therefore when the Republicans choose their presidential bet, they need to pit him with Barack Obama in terms of intelligence and ability. Obama was popular among the young voters and minorities. The Republicans will have to choose somebody who can beat Obama.
Political observers says that 2012 election will be a reality check for the Obama presidency. If the American people still approves of his administration then he will win a landslide victory. If the American people think that they did not see the change they were clamoring for during the campaign then they will vote for someone else.
The most likely bets for the election in 2012 would be Mitt Romney and Bobby Jindal, Mike Huckabee, Tim Pawlenty and Charlie Crist. Sarah Palin may be again considered but she seems to lack national and international appeal.
